Build your confidence,
increase your skills,
and learn more effectively
with Kotsu-Kotsu Japanese lessons!
Origin of the site name:
Kotsu kotsu has two meanings.
One is to continuously make an effort, even if it’s small.
The other represents the sound that is made when hard objects hit each other.
For example, when a woodpecker bores through wood without giving up, making a steady sound.
I thought that these two images--of small,
consistent work leading to impressive results--would be perfect,
so I decided to use the woodpecker as my logo,
and the word “Kotsu kotsu” as my site name.
Let's all enjoy learning Japanese,
making a steady effort to improve every lesson!
「コツコツ」には二つ意味があります。
一つは、小さな努力を継続すること。
もう一つは、硬いもの同士が当たったときに出る音を表します。
キツツキは、コツコツ音を鳴らしながら一生懸命木をつつきます。
そんなイメージがピッタリだと思い、シンボルとしました。
みなさんも日本語の学習を楽しみながら、目標に向かってコツコツ頑張りましょう!
